deuce and a half: receiver hitch mounts

Submitted by jesusgatos on February 27th, 2011

This is a half-baked idea for a removable three-point receiver-hitch mount for a deuce and a half. Decided to build a different type of hitch for mah deuce but thought somebody might find these files useful. These mounts are intended to be bolted to the frame using the three existing holes in the bottom of the framerails where the rear-most crossmember is riveted to the frame (rivets would need to be removed and replaced with bolts). The side-plates are intended to be bolted to the frame using two existing holes where the grab-handles are located, and three additional holes would need to be drilled to help distribute the load. Dimensions are unverified and the design is unfinished. If anybody uses these files, please let us know how they work out.
